Epic Stop motion lego director and animator, Forrest Whaley.

Imagine this. You taking hours and hours moving tiny Lego characters around a plastic Lego set and adding some voices? Now post that up in a video on YouTube. How many subscribers do you think you would get? 20? 30? 50? What about somewhere around 50,000? Fortunately that is the case for fifteen year old Forrest Whaley. A master at animation. Lego fans, animation people, and regular people who are simply looking for good videos, check out his channel.

Forrest joined YouTube May 30, 2007. His first video Spider vs. Sand was uploaded on July 14, 2007 with a single voice and mega block characters. Since then he’s made hilarious videos of Lego Batman, Spider Man, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, you name it! Not to mention live action videos and cute and funny animations made to make you laugh; Including the amazingly funny The Duck Song with over a million views. He animated a popular kids song by  songdrops and suddenly it was a hit. Now he even has T-shirts and magnets available. Who knew?

Also, recently Forrest was even on a Segment of Nick news. He was interviewed about his spoof Lego batman/ spider man/ etc. movies, and I quote “I usually make fun of them, in a nice way.” You can find the high quality video here. And some awesome pics from the interview  :-) .

Using voices from himself, family, friends, and a few others, Forrest has made Youtube History

 Honors:

#91 – Most Subscribed (All Time) – Directors
#77 – Most Viewed (This Week) – Directors
#79 – Most Viewed (This Week) – Partners

So why not check him out on YouTube? He isn’t hugely popular, but it’s not like he has no views or anything.
