This post is a brief review on Kurt Schneider’s works and collaborations with a number of famous talents online.
My first encounter with Kurt Schneider was when he directed a music video performed by Megan Nicole titled “B-e-a-utiful”. The simple visual direction in the music video blew me away as a student starting her way in video editing. As I continue, I stumbled upon another work of Schneider in his collaboration with Christina Grimmie and Sam Tsui in the “Just A Dream” Cover. Aside from its minimalistic approach, Schneider was able to give the talents their share in the spotlight without having to compromise the quality of the video. Being a minimalist myself, I’ve always believed that simplicity is beauty. Hence, seeing it put into visuals made me in awe. Schneider’s work that simply made me gasp in admiration was his recent collaboration with Victoria Justice and Max Schneider- the “Maroon 5 Medley”. The video was carefully put together from camera angles to focus; it was apparent that every movement was thoroughly planned, calculated and carefully executed. Having followed this gifted individual for quite some time now, I can say that his works are simply exceptional. Aside from that, he can play a number of instruments from guitar to piano and even do some beatboxing on the side. Truly, this man has a bright future ahead of him. Props for him and for all the people behind the camera working with him. They have created a solid foundation of what a production should and must be. All the best and more power to all of them!
And for some samples of his work, check out the videos I am talking about and let me know what you think. I am sure you will love this as much as I do. The music production and the production itself is simply exceptional, it’ll leave you breathless.
