On listening to BBC Radio One on my way into work this morning, DJ Chris Moyles continued to plug his colleague’s new ‘You Tube’ entry.

The man in question, ‘Comedy Dave’ had submitted a video he created at the weekend, titled ‘Comedy Dave’s session with a steamy stripper’. The title indicating something many a red blooded male would like to see.

However the twist and joke to the tale is that Dave videoed himself for 10 minutes decorating his front room using a steamer and thus stripping the paper. There genius is to see firstly how many ‘hits’ they can achieved from this innuendo type advertising and also to confuse the hell out of random viewers that aren’t Radio One listeners and are somewhat unaware of their antics.

The point I make is that this ‘false’ advertising could be a good technique for Triond users to use and aid boost their views.

By titling a piece something that can be interpreted for a popular ongoing event in the world could mean a non Triond user stumbling across your article while ‘Googling’. It’s a method that has got to be worth a try………so hello to all you steamy stripper seekers.
