The following is a guide to places on the Internet that will allow you to watch just about any movie or TV show episode, all full length, online and for free. Let’s face it, we’re in a recession and not everyone can afford to pay for On-Demand to watch an episode of a TV show they missed or pay $10 to go see a movie at the cinema which might not be that great or even rent a movie from Netflix that they’re curious about.

That’s where the free online material comes in. I’ve done my research very well and now I would like to share what I have found. You don’t have to worry about encountering any scams. These sites are 100% free and you can watch just about anything in its full length glory.

  1. Watch TV Sitcoms (http://www.watchtvsitcoms.com): Don’t let the title fool you, not only do they have full length TV episodes of every show you can think of but they have movies as well, both old and new. I’ve watched entire seasons of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, “The Sopranos”, and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” on this website.
  2. Watch Movies Links (http://www.watch-movies-links.net): This site has movies only, old and new. It’s basically a hub of links, an umbrella of sorts. All you do is type in the movie you’re looking for, click on it, and it will have multiple links that will direct you to sites that are showing the movie. It rates each link on how well it works (1% being the lowest and 100% being the highest). I’ve watched “Red Dawn”, “King of New York”, “The Unborn”, among many others on this site.
  3. Cinema Wiki (http://en.cinemawiki.tv): This is probably not the best site that I would recommend as it probably has the most broken links of the bunch that I’m listing here, but some still work. It has old movies and new movies.
  4. The OV Guide (http://www.ovguide.com): This has to be the ultimate guide to watching anything online period. This is the big brother and sister of all the sites mentioned here. Much like Watch Movies Links, it acts as an umbrella/hub of links where you can find the movie you are looking for. The problem is that it lists both free links and links that require you to pay to watch. Nevertheless, a very good source.
  5. Hulu (http://www.hulu.com): Another reliable site that has movies and TV shows, the only problem is their library is limited and what I find weird is that, within their TV show collection, they do not have complete seasons to some of their shows. For instance, let’s look at “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, there’s two seasons, they only have the second one. Season 2 consists of about 21 episodes yet Hulu only decides to post 14-21 (why bother?).
  6. YouTube (http://www.youtube.com): This is probably the most obvious one. You would have to type in the name of the movie and add “part 1″ at the end of the title. See, on YouTube, when you upload an entire movie, it has to be broken up into 10-15 parts (depending on how long the movie is) and each part is 9-10 minutes long. So you can still watch an entire movie, just click on part 2 after the first 10 minutes, then part 3 after the next 10 minutes, and so on. YouTube has just about every movie almost, especially oldies from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 00s. I’ve watched countless films on here. Sometimes you will find full length episodes of shows (they happen to have all of “Friday the 13th: The Series” from the 1980s).
