Why watch ER or any other hospital series when you can watch a real surgery live through the Internet? It’s really easy and best of all it’s free.

First of all you will have to visit the site OR-Library (www.or-live.com). You will need to downlaod a free software which will let you watch the live surgery. You may have that program so there will be no need to download it! After that you can watch any type of surgery, from by-pass to stomach surgeries. There is also an archive of previous surgeries to watch or you can find information about when the next surgery is going to happen.
This site is very informative, because you can see what really happens in a surgery. You can prepare yourself better if you are going to have a surgery and knowing what doctors are going to do with you. Most of the visitors watch the surgeries because they are just curious though!
I warn you that if you are going to watch those surgeries you have to be prepared in what you are going to see. The surgeries are real so everything you will see is real (contrary to the hospital series). If you are ok with blood or the look of some organs then you can watch those surgeries without having to worry about it. If you are not then you probably shouldn’t watch those live surgeries and stick to the other series!

Wow, I never heard of this before. I imagine it might be handy if you were a med student or something. I’m going to have to pass though since I faint at the sight of blood. Great article though.
