Steps to making a successful internet video:

Step one

Take time to come up with an idea, I’ve seen one too many videos that go nowhere because of careless planning. It might even help to write down what your ideas are I know when I work on making a video I always make at least some note to make sure my video stays on topic.

Take time to come up with an idea, don’t just write down the first thing that come to mind think it out, and make sure you talk to those you are making a video with. You don’t want them to have a different idea of what suppose to happen while you are filming. This wastes time and daylight.

Think about the items or props that you will need, it might also be helpful to write down what you are using as props as well it will things a lot easier to keep track of.

And make sure you have people to help you (makes it a little easier), make sure they are mature, responsible people that will be able to help you, and if they can act it would not hurt.

Step two

Location,  Location,  Location!!!! 

Make sure you have a good place to film, film in a place that is relevant to the topic of you video don’t film a children’s show in slaughter house.

Make sure there is not too much or too little light, light can make or break your video if there is to little light everything will be to dark and you just wasted your day filming for nothing.

And it’s best not to film in the rain (your equipment may not like it), the weather can also be a setback when filming, if it is raining(or worse) try to wait it out or if you are working with little time try to rework so you can film indoors.

Step three

The editing process, unless your perfect your video will need some editing

To edit your video you will some kind of editing program most of you will use movie maker since it is free and most likely on your computer already

Make sure there is someone who knows what they’re doing when editing or if its your first time have fun with it and see what you can do

Be careful with how many effects and graphics you use, since this can make it look cluttered and messy.
