The message of the video is that all of the pollution is affecting the planet and our habits aren’t great which aren’t helping the situation.

I think that the message is for people who care about the world, it is also for people who want to change their act. It’s also for people who analyze the climate and want to see the change increase over the years.

I think that this message from a person (or people) who care about our environment and want others to see their video. Which might also male them care and want to help our environment also.

Why do you think this person (or people) chose Youtube to get their message across?

I think this person (or people) chose Youtube to get their message across because when they created the video they thought of other people who care about the world. Therefore they wanted a way to broadcast it and thought of Youtube.

Which if the two videos on this topic do you find more effective and why?

I found the second video I viewed more effective because the editor presented the information in an interesting way. I also like the second one better because it’s composed of more information; it contains a better background song which keeps the viewer intrigued.

What did you learn about the topic that you did not know before viewing the video?

I learned that all of the pollution will make the sea level rise and cover some of the land; it will also make all glaciers melt. I didn’t know that lighting fires contributed to global warming. That is what I learned from this video.

This is a very interesting video because it shows a lot of interesting facts and personally I have always been interested in global warming and this video with it facts and interesting presentation made me more interested in global warming.

I think that this video could be for someone who has no information about global warming and wanted to learn about it. It is also meant for people want to learn in a fun interesting way.

Who is the message from?

I think that this message is from a person who either had to learn in a non-fun, boring way or they had a fun experience and wanted to show other people that learning can be fun. I think that the person who posted the video liked the really good song he used as the background; he must have really strong feelings against global warming to create such a good video.

Why do you think this person (or people) chose Youtube to get their message across?

I think that they used Youtube to get their message across because sooo many million people visit Youtube daily therefore a lot of people must view their video. They probably could have used other things but by far Youtube is the most popular of them all. Their plan worked because about 267,000 people viewed their video.

Which if the two videos on this topic do you find more effective and why?

Well you know since it’s a question that can have only one answer it’s going to be the same as for video #1. I will add though, this video shows some incredible before-and-after pictures which are amazing. I think that it’s correct about the poles being warmer than the actual land of Earth. By far it’s my favourite global warming video therefore it is more effective.

What did you learn about the topic that you did not know before viewing the video?

I learned that many species are going to be extinct as an effect of global warming, which is pretty sad because it didn’t do anything. It was humans that put the planet in peril which will be sad to see it be ruined by 2065. That was what I learned from that video about global warming.

The message of this video is portraying one city when they had a huge food crisis in 2005, it’s pretty sad to see people in those conditions meanwhile in Canada we just have soo much. It relates because it’s showing how famine affects people, it shows how it can be solved and it’s cause.

I think that the message is for people who want to see what happens to people when food crises occur and how much people die and suffer. It is meant for people who want to see what happens to a country, it could be meant for people are from that country and want to see what happens to it.

Who is the message from?

This message could be from someone who experienced famine in their life, and/or they want to educate others. Therefore they’ll have some knowledge about it, the person made a very good video. The person obviously cares about other people in the world and could have had inspirers which made him produce a video as such as this.

Why do you think this person (or people) chose Youtube to get their message across?

I think that whoever made it used Youtube to get their message across because it’s international, therefore when focusing on one country you can let the world see it. They could have also used Youtube because of their probably growing popularity and its good exposure.

Which if the two videos on this topic do you find more effective and why?

I think that the second video was more effective because it shown the cause and effect that had caused the famine. This video is also good but it doesn’t show the cause for the famine. The second video had shown who was accountable for the famine and what he had done to the working class people.

What did you learn about the topic that you did not know before viewing the video?

I learned how much people die and suffer in famine; I also learned that during a famine food prices sky-rocket which allows the higher class survive and the lower class survive. I learned that a famine is a very dreadful thing that can happen and how to recognize when a body doesn’t have enough nutrients. I learned in this famine more than 3 million people died out of the 12 million people population.

The message of this video is showing what happened to the people of Russia during that famine. This video relates because it contains very good facts and it was a really well-made video. It also relates because of the really bad conditions that the people were forced to live under.

I think that this message is intended for people who wondered about this famine but never knew who and/or why it was caused. It could be for people who research in history, or it could be for people who, for example was making a book about famines. They could have used this information to their advantage, because it contains very good information.

Who is the message from?

I think that this message is from someone who is interested in this issue; they could have been a descendant of Russians who could have heard about this famine. The person could have wanted people to know about this famine, they probably had to do a lot of research to make this video.

Why do you think this person (or people) chose Youtube to get their message across?

The person probably has used Youtube because they may have wanted the world to know about this horrific event. They may have used it because it’s an easy way for them to spread their message to the public.

Which if the two videos on this topic do you find more effective and why?

It would have to be the same answer as video #1 because the answer will be the same. I think that this video was way more detailed than the first. It may not be as “good-looking” as the first one but it was way more accurate and detailed.

What did you learn about the topic that you did not know before viewing the video?

I learned that the man who created this famine is a very cruel, sick, horrible human being because he made people die of hunger for his own pleasure. He wouldn’t only take their crops but the seeds so they couldn’t replant their crops. If they failed to meet a requirement they would be locked in a shack which is horrible. I think that he shouldn’t have made people starve for his own convenience.

I think that the video was intended for children who are in school and are learning about poverty. I could say this because as a description it says that it was intended for school children.

I think that this message is from a person in university who had to make video project and decided to do it on poverty. It could also be by a person who is fascinated in the subject and did research which he used to compose this video.

I think they used Youtube because most schoolchildren use Youtube so it’s perfect for them to use to spread their message. It will be viewed by many schoolchildren because supposedly they had a project they would have used Youtube to get information.

The first one was more effective because it had better information and the video contained real facts so the viewer could have seen it and learned a lot more than just watching a video about the topic.

What did you learn about the topic that you did not know before viewing the video?

I learned a lot from this video some things I learned was that 1 in 6 Canadians live in poverty. I also learned that 1.4 million people die each year due to a lack of access to safe drinking water and also because of inadequate sanitation. I learned that 2.2 million children die because of they aren’t immunized. It was interesting to learn that 10.6 million children die before the age of 5. I learned that 30,000 children die daily, which is about 210,000 children die weekly.

The message of this video is showing how bad poverty is and Nelson was talking about how to prevent it. Nelson also is talking about how to prevent it; he provides a lot of facts in his videos.

I think that this message is for people who want to see how to help the issue and what to also tell people to prevent it. I think that the video could also be meant for people who are interested in the subject if they have background information.

Who is the message from?

The message is from a man who has a powerful vision of ending poverty; he also wants to inform people how to avoid it. Nelson is also a man of power who uses it to stop things he would like and inform others of issues.

Why do you think this person (or people) chose Youtube to get their message across?

I think they used Youtube because of its popularity; by using this site more people will see it rather than posting it other sites like for example, rapidshare. They also used Youtube

I stick with my decision with the first one being more effective because it contains more background information about poverty which this one doesn’t. This one doesn’t contain

What did you learn about the topic that you did not know before viewing the video?

I really didn’t learn a lot from this video except that countries should be fair when trading. I also learned that poorer countries should cancel their debt; and for them to have better aid to the poorer countries.

I believe that Youtube has become as popular as it had because it has many people watching the newly posted videos. The site is always being posted upon which causes more and more people to visit the site. Youtube is also very popular because one person probably saw the site, told a friend who told a friend which could make it spread across a country. Youtube has become as popular as it has become as popular because of their site having everything that you could possibly want to watch. That is why Youtube is as popular as it is today.
