There are an ample amount of them…..
I’d love to find out the secret of going viral. Even though it is kinda scary sounding, right. Boy the jargon of the Internet and the new Culture it represents is amazing. Going viral. It only means that your product sold very, very well and reached a very broad audience.

Honestly, I haven’t watched anything viral since that little dark-hard girl Rebecca Black became a Super Internet Star with her video and song about “Fer-Eye-Day” with little catchy lyrics like “today is Thursday and tomorrow is Fer-Eye-Day”. It was comical that folks were flocking to her YouTube Channel because they were loving to hate it so much that all that hate translated into hits and views and ching-ching! Dollars and contracts and money. Have to repeat the word MONEY. It was a fun little ditty about a bunch of very young teenagers, like about 14-16 (some are driving cars), celebrating partying on that special day Fer-Eye-Day..….
The people who have viral videos and such can and do make six figures which is a little more typical than the out and out Million Dollar Makers but the fact is that it is so very possible! The presence of Reality Television has made our perception different. And entertainment on the Internet is just another normal way to view what you want. People spend a lot of time on it and people know this. YouTube has to be one of the most popular sites ever.
This morning I heard on television on one of the Network shows, either Windy City Live or The View. I forget which one because one show follows the other. But a young woman, about 25, had her video go viral and guess the subject? How to apply make-up to look like a Super Star of your choice. Just think, no singing, no acting, no dancing but just being like a trillion other females; knowing how to apply make-up! But I’ll give her credit, she was good. Do you want to look like Lady Gaga or Angelina Jolie? Can you imagine what this video can mean to Make-Up Manufacturers? It was an amazingly simple, but decent video. This business is so good for this young woman that she has brought in her sister-in-law who is getting her own branch-off station. The young woman always wanted to buy her mother a home and she has been able to do so. She’ll probably be able to do much more. I mean this lady has loads of Subscriptions that translates to money, endorsements, engagements all kinds of things going. She said that she had no idea that it would happen.

Well it goes back to product and targeting that audience. I believe it’s the younger set of females because young women traditionally like to play with Make-up, at least a large number of them. And they idolize the likes of the aforementioned stars. It does take drive to sit and create such videos, at the same time, it doesn’t cost much at all, it’s just about finding a need and filling it. Rebecca Black’s video wasn’t poorly made either, some thought went into it. What is really happening is that the Internet has money power in it, but it just depends on what you choose to do. There are countless stars that got their start on the Internet so we can’t dismiss the power. Think of Justin Bieber discovery on it and his later contracts!
I remember the Cigarette industry, that trilliion dollar, many times over, industry. For years it seems that America just toyed with the idea of banishing those horrid sticks of addiction. At one time I was a smoker. But as I learned more, I realized that I didn’t need them and that was after smoking for decades. I don’t crave them, don’t want them and it’s upward about 14 years now. But a very smart person told me “when society is able to find something to fill that hole that the falling sales of cigarettes create, then they will put banishment of cigarettes into full force.” I’ve often thought about that. This was when the Internet was still novel and no way as vast of a Universe as it is now. But it looks like the person could have been right. Just about everyone has a computer, everyone buys and sells things. There’s money in it and to those who know how to get enough to pay one bill, I would say it’s worth it. Peace.
