Five tips to help anyone get famous on YouTube.
Make your videos watchable
Here, you can go many ways. Make it funny, or make it artsy. Show an extraordinary talent or just show off your mad guitar skills. Make it black and white, or speed up parts of it. Any way you go, try things that leave viewers with a lasting impression.
Edit them well
No lame animations here! Make sure the camera doesn’t jiggle, make sure the sound and light quality are good, and definitely make sure there are no funny cuts in your videos. Put a nice introduction into the film and a decent ending, neither of which should exceed a few seconds.
Make yourself well known
Comment plenty and most importantly: VIDEO RESPOND. People are more likely to watch your video response than to read your comment. Try to get your videos posted on other websites, and you can even post them yourself in forums or on your own website. And don’t forget to tell your friends about your channel!
Get a feature video
Ok, this is probably one of the most difficult things to do on YouTube. A featured video needs to be entertaining, edited well, and must leave the viewer with a “WOW!” impression. A featured video can have no copyrighted material (take out all logos and music) and it should not contain any ideas that you borrowed from someone else.
Gain subscribers
No, wait. I take that back. This is the most difficult thing to do on YouTube. You need to make people want to view every new video you put up. Have an interesting and eye-catching profile page. Subscribe to your favorite channels a bit too, but definitely don’t overdo it. Be polite to your viewers and block any users that just spam.
