Get 100,000 views in no time.
So your finally finished editing that video of you putting mentos in diet pepsi and watch it go Ka-boom. You upload it with excitement almost knowing that you will get loads of views. You go to bed and wake up the next morning and sprint to the computer only to find that your prized video has a grand total of 12 views. You are devastated. Here are some tips on how to get a great video circulating the web.
Make something interesting and unique. Sure mentos in pepsi is interesting but not unique; there are probably hundreds of videos just like yours that are all trying to accomplish the same thing, that is to get views. And something like videoing your closet is unique but not interesting, and yes I have seen people do that, idiots is what I have to say.
Comment on other people’s videos. I know with me I will sometimes go and view other profile who comment on me, and see what type of things they have.
Beg for Subscribers. This may make you seem like a bottom dweller and a stupid lousy person but it works. I don’t need to go more in depth on that.
Embed your video on your networking site, facebook, myspace etc etc. If you have a lot of friends chances are they will view your profile and click play on the video. Even if they don’t watch it all the way through it still counts as a view.

Can you make money with videos? My nephew loves YouTube and tells me some people make a living there.

Yes you can make money through your posting on YouTube much like an artist is commissioned to make paintings. I don’t know if you could make a living on it, but I have been hired to do video work for clients that have seen my work on YouTube with a link to a more focused personal website of my own at http://www.bobcummings.tv. Tell your nephew he is on the right track if he wants to produce his own videos then YouTube has a wealth of instructional videos available. Good Luck and more success with YouTube.
