 Want to make a video but you’re on a budget? Do you have windows XP or higher? Then you must have Windows Movie Maker.

 Most people think that Movie Maker isn’t any good. Well they’re right. But that’s just because they don’t know how to get the most out oft it. Well I’m going to tell you how.

•  First off, be sure you have Windows XP or higher. You must also have windows movie maker which comes with Windows XP and higher.
• Now, we must get the raw video. It would be good to have an HD camcorder but any other would be fine. Your camcorder should automatically upload the video. Now you must import the video. To do so open Movie Maker. Now select File < Import Media Items < (Location you uploaded raw video to.)
• Finally, we can start adding effects. First, we can add a title. To do so, click Tools < Titles and Credits. It will ask where you want to put it. If you wan to put it on a certain video or picture, select “Title on Selected Clip”. If you want it at the beginning then select “Title at the Beginning”. For the credits, select “Credits at the End”. The options are pretty simple. Just choose the font and animation for the ending.
• Now for putting the clips or pictures on the time line. Near the bottom of the program, there is an option that says “Storyboard” and it has a drop down menu. Choose “Timeline”. “Timeline allows you to better understand what’s happening in the video.
• Drag and drop the content onto the timeline. Now you can drag to make the length of the picture/clip. 
• To add an effect, right click and select “Effects”. There are a bunch. Go ahead and experiment. If you want to remove an effect, go back under the same option and select “Remove”.
• Now you can keep adding more items and effects. Just be sure  not to over do anything. This is the best way to get the most out of Movie Maker.
