If your like me your trying to safe a few dollars here and there. My son showed me how to watch my favorite cable channels on my computer which goes to my large flat screen TV for free. I will show and tell you all how to do it.
I have been able to reduce my cable TV bill and computer on-line bill combined to around $60.00 a month. I was paying $160.00 a month for both of them. I am happy to say that you could save even more if you want too.
Lets begin with hooking up the cables to your TV from your computer. You will need to buy the two cables, audio and video at your local computer store for around $50.00. I know this is a lot to start but if you open the boxes up gently and save the receipts you can take them back if your not happy and if for some reason you don’t want to watch cable shows this way.

After you have the audio and video wires hooked up you will need connect to the Internet. For me I put an internal wireless adapter in the computer with an antenna. If you look closely at the picture above you will see an antenna at the bottom. It receives a signal fantastic.
Next you will need to find a web site that will lead you to what you want to watch. For me I use www.hulu.com, www.sling.com, and there are a variety of others sites but for what I watch these sites are fine. I also watch my netflix movies this way.
So you have longed on the Internet you went to your favorite web site for movies or cable shows your ready to begin enjoying the movies, series, shows etc.
Hint some shows that are on HBO, Showtime and others are last seasons or are like a week out from when they aired. It doesn’t bother me because they are new to me and are great to watch them for free. Examples of shows I watch are: Hung, True blood both on HBO and Son’s of Anarchy on FX. I have the shows e-mailed to me when they are available to watch. All I can say Is fantastic thanks new technology.
