Watch great movies, television shows and documentaries on-line – free. Here’s where to find them!
Did you know that you have your own movie library right at your finger tips?
Some traditional media companies like Comcast and NBC-Universal have realized that they are losing a lot of viewers to free on-line movie sites available on the computer. As a means of recouping some of their losses and putting themselves in the new, fast-changing, inter-net medium, these two big companies formed two sites that cooperate with each other. Their advertising efforts have made watching movies on-line a more mainstream activity.
There are lots of free sites on the inter-net. Some of these sites are better than others.
The following sites are known to be reliable:
- Fancast – www.fancast.com. Fancast is owned by Comcast.
- Hulu - www.hulu.com. Hulu.com is owned by NBC-Universal.
- TV Shack – www.tvshack.net. There is lots of pirated material at this site. But, the site is safe to use. Avoid any videos that access MegaVideo.com, however, because MegaVideo will stop you movie half way through in an attempt to get you to join their site. You may also find that any videos that download from the Japanese website youkou.com do not load properly. Any movies or other material you find that downloads from other websites should be fine. You may have to wait a few minutes for it to load before it will play properly, even if you have a high speed connection.
- SurftheChannel - www.surfthechannel.com. This one is quite a lot like TVShack. They have a great selection of movies, too.
- Crackle – www.crackle.com. This site shows some really great movies in high definition. But, they will not play properly unless you have a very high speed connection. Crackle is a highly reliable site, unlike TVShack.net, where there are movies of questionable quality and you have to pick over their listings to find one that you can play. These will all play nicely as long as your connection speed is fast enough.
- Google Video – www.video.google.com. Google has all kinds of movies, including all five of the Alex Jones documentaries. It’s amazing that you can access these films for free! Don’t miss out.
- YouTube.com - www.youtube.com – It really goes without saying, yet, I am obligated to include YouTube, which is the most well-known movie site on the inter-net. You can find full-length movies and television shows on YouTube. It’s not always the best source for full-length films, though. In fact, its direct competitor, Google Video, does a better job when it comes to full-length professional films.
This is not a comprehensive list. But, it will get you started and provide you with hours of entertainment and sometimes valuable information. It’s absolutely amazing that without spending another dime you can find excellent movies, television series and documentaries. Take advantage and enjoy!

The most popular ones would be megashare.com, dailymotion.com, milledrive.com and others
The main pain is to search for movies and tv shows on these websites.
I have currently developed a website which consolidates the links available on these websites and more and provides the users a great experience. The users submit the links themselves and help others.
A truly social website. Can you give you me your views on http://www.thefilmwall.com
