Everyone’s heard of Google earth; how can you not have? It has spread worldwide since it was created, and is a widely used geographical tool. From GPS to Atlas to touring the world from the comfort of your own home, Google earth has it all, and to top it off, it’s free – or is it?

War driving and wireless network hacking are unpleasant realities that need to be met head on if we are to stay one step ahead rather than just another victim in the cyber arms race.

I have nothing against any of the sites mentioned, I simply wanted to inform people of what’s going on. Any real names have been X-ed out for obvious reasons.

This is inspired by several gadgets that receive too much hype for having such little demand. It will also highlight one gadget that is one of the biggest trends since the digital camera revolution.
