What can we who use the internet for good do about those who do not? How can we stop internet criminals?

As a Libra, I am all about fairness and justice. How do does society allocate a befitting punishment for a crime? I want to discuss this from different angles but today I am starting with the ever popular crime du jour – 419.

Unscrupulous foreign users attempt to rip off honest sellers and barterers.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) seems to be pouring through the security floodgates and ending up in the wrong hands at an alarming rate. Nearly every other day some new twist involving abuses of trust concerning personally identifiable information makes the headlines.

Employers should have the right to have access to their employee’s emails and Web-surfing activities.

“You’ve been hacked” is a message none of us ever want to see. These people made a living out of sending out that message.

Avoid the pop-up ads on your internet. They are dangerous.
