YouTube has become the one of the fastest growing social network sites around. YouTube users post videos that have useful and good information for the rest of the public to see. YouTube has been used for many reasons by many different people. These are the main ways people use YouTube: advertising, earning revenue, just for fun.

Advertising:

Entrepreneurs often use YouTube to post explanation videos about their business. They advertise on YouTube because it is easy, free, and has millions of users on the site a day. By uploading their video to YouTube entrepreneurs wish to increase traffic to their site and hopefully make a sale.

Earning Revenue:

Revenue can be earned two ways with YouTube. The first previously mentioned is by entrepreneurs trying to advertise and sale a product or service. The second way to earn revenue is by YouTube’s rewards program which allows its users to earn money for every so many viewings of the videos.

Just for fun:

Most people however who use YouTube use it just to get their piece of the internet. Users use it to become famous on the internet.
