With Twitter becoming one of the top social media sites on the planet and having applications spring up all around the web it only makes sense that user directories will pop up as well. WeFollow has been created to be THE end all say all of Twitter directories on the web.

WeFollow, The Twitter Directory Based On Interests
WeFollow is the new brainchild of Kevin Rose. If you haven’t heard of his name I’m sure you may have heard of one of his more known products- Digg. Since it’s announcement WeFollow has added thousands of users and over 10,000 followers on Twitter itself.
Exactly What is WeFollow?
WeFollow is “a user powered Twitter directory.” Quite simply it is a directory where every category is chosen by those who use it with certain categories highlighted on the main page. This includes preset tags as well as those that are most popular. It’s easy to add yourself, easy to sort through, and easy to search for tags to find users with similar interests.
How to Add Your Twitter to WeFollow
It’s amazingly easy to add your Twitter account to the WeFollow directory. It’s so simple you just need to go to: http://wefollow.com/ and click on the button in the top right hand corner, or send send the following tweet:
@wefollow #category1 #category2 #category3
Replacing the category1, 2, and 3 with the category name that you would like to be tagged in. Make sure you do keep the hash marks(#) in the message though! Simply by doing this WeFollow will detect your message and add you. That’s it! There does not currently appear to be an option to change the directories you want though so I would be careful on making sure you enter exactly how you want to be associated with it.
