Mark Zuckerberg, one of the three founders of the social-networking site Facebook, has announced recently that the database of Facebook contains around two hundred millions of users at the moment.

To give you a better view on how much two hundred millions of users is; it’s a little bit less than three percent of the total world population. If Facebook would be a country, it would be one of the bigger ones in the world

Facebook would be bigger than Russia and Japan. Mark Zuckerberg says that Facebook has been launched successfully in 2004. “We work hard on a service that everyone is able to use everywhere. No matter if they’re just a person, a company or a president.”

Facebook received a special section on the website to celebrate the milestone of two hundred millions of users. The section is called Facebook for Good.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, members on Facebook can use this section to tell other users how they got in touch with users on Facebook, and how Facebook helped to strengthen relationships between people.
