Why is Twitter such an awesome networking tool? What’s the appeal, really? You can use Twitter for keeping updates of your friends, relatives, acquaintances and business networking people or clients. Get the word out; tweet and tweet.
There are also other reasons like:
- For personal usage
- For the fun of it
- Having those momentary spaces in time and you can tweet
- Use the search tab to gain information on other sites and more
Basically, it is to tell the whole world or the world in your network on your updates and stuff
Is Twitter damaging in the long run?
Depends on how you look at it. If you enjoy it and not ending up spending money on other online/offline unnecessary items, why not?
Twitter gives you a sense of satisfaction like blogging. Perhaps, that is why it is called micro-blogging.
Do you have to pay to use Twitter?
Nope. Registration is free and it suits all ages; young and old alike. Therefore, what are you waiting for? Start tweeting now.

I just signed up on Twitter the other day and I like it so far. I’ve been busy with end of school stuff here lately and haven’t had a chance to do too much with it yet though. Hopefully I can once things settle down.
