A short article directing writers to websites for essential Twitter follows.

For many years I have wanted to become a published writer.  I have had periods of times where I have been dedicated to setting time aside to concentrate on writing; other times I have just concentrated on sending samples of my work to literary agents or publishing houses.  Unfortunately, due to working full time, I do not currently have the amount of time that I need to write and still be able to approach and submit my work to literary agents.

Therefore, I have started to do some homework to see if there is anyway that I can have my cake and eat it.  I wanted to be able to get my name out there and known, but without having to spend all my precious free time doing so.  After a small amount of research, I must admit I’ve been pleasantly surprised!

Having scoured the Internet, I’ve found some really useful websites which, I think are invaluable to any up and coming writer who is trying to find a quick and easy way of getting your name bantered around.

The following links provide a comprehensive list of literary agents, writers, Bloggers & publishers that can all be found and followed on Twitter.

The majority of the people/companies listed on the first website have in excess of 10,000 followers.  I have only currently added the suggestions from the first website, and within 24 hours, I had gained over 50 new follows!

For a wider variety of writers and Bloggers throughout the world, you could also visit the following website, and add your Twitter account to their comprehensive database.

Here is another great website which lists a number of writers who you can follow on Twitter:

Even if you do not manage to land yourself an agent, you will still have access to a wealth of new friends who offer some fantastic advice on how to get noticed as a writer or tips on how to become a world class Blogger.

If you are a Triond user, you can also link your Triond account to your Twitter account, which will then automatically publish any of your articles to Twitter, for it to be viewed by all the right people!

If you are serious about getting your name and work known, why not give it a go?

Good luck and god bless!
