How dating has changed, especially online.
“The Dating Game” We have all played it once in our lives. After being married for
twenty six years, I was quite astonished at the change in rules.. Females pursuing males was
something unheard of in my time. But when in Rome… I joined the festivities, don’t think I have ever
ever seen so many good looking men in one place at one time in my life.
I found some to my liking and they liked me too. And I have to admit, no longer am I easily
embarrassed. I was sent pictures and heard things that would have made Larry Flint blush. More surprising
were the young men, I do mean young! And my one question.. “why do you want a woman almost three times your
age?” I have grand children and it made me feel very uncomfortable, they were babies, trying to be men.
Then there were the models.. attractive, PhDs, millionaires, own their own businesses and,
when they saw your profile, it lit up their eyes, they had found love again after so many lonely
years, they have a lonely child that has been without a mother for too long, they call you dear (grr)
they want your address, (usually yahoo) so you can talk together about your love.. Oh and,
they are in Africa taking care of some business for a big client. Girls if it seems too good to be true,
it probably is. These are the scammers.
So I decided to do things they way I know, it is much nicer having a man to pursue me. I
leave the Game to the young they have the energy…Rolling in the hay all night, “are you kidding”
getting out of bed after sleeping all night is a challenge. One more thing, be respectful to each other,
be discerning, be careful… enjoy The Dating Game.
