A closer look at how the “search system” in social networks actually works.

The first search results are linked to your network of friends. Your friends and their communities first appear in the search. The second group presents the results of users and communities that are in the same country as you, allowing more easily find people close to you. Finally are the results of other countries.

Google announced on November 19, 2008 that will gradually make the Brazilian users a tool to chat integrated with orkut. The social network has worked with Google Talk, but the novelty simplifies access and use of chat.
