A guide to a facebook game by play plus and gaia online.
Gaia online has teamed up with play plus a few months ago and created a facebook game called soul crash. Games seem to have been stored away in facebook and it doesn’t appear to be a major focus for it anymore.
I’ve been playing this game throughout the day after receiving a promotion from gaia online which made me aware of the game. This game is amazing and is possibly one of the top 5 games I’ve played on facebook.
You create a character and then you fight NPC characters as well as characters from people around the world (not live). However there are some things you should know before you even start as you can’t restart the game as its on facebook, I will also discuss some strategies.
Character Customisation: Characters are customisable in the game in terms of stats and appearance.
Weapons: Weapons are what you attack with and can be upgraded. There are not many weapons or not many types of items in general for that matter.
Armour: Most armours don’t give you stat bonuses with the exception for around 10 which make up around 20% of the equipment in the game. Most armour items are for decoration which means that you are better off spending your money and cash elsewhere.
Cash: This is the money you spend in real life for the game, the pricing is reasonable however the balance of what to buy is unbalanced.
Gacha: This is the random chance items from capsules. You start with 10 free cash and get +1 each time you level up. I suggest you spend it in the weapon Gacha. There is a chance to get a weapon (probably low) but if you do, you will be set for guaranteed wins for a very long time as these weapons don’t have prerequisites like the ones purchased through stores.
Coins: This has remained low but haven’t been a problem yet due to the limited content in the game.
Allies: You fight with 2 people on your team and tag them, you must invite your friends to join you which will allow them to help you in 10 battles every 24 hours. If you do not make friends play, you will be forced to hire NPC characters, which cost around 500% what you make from one battle, and prices keep increasing.
Stats: Characters have four stats that power the character. They are: Attack, Defence, Evasion %, Accuracy %. Defence builds include defence with evasion and attack builds include attack with accuracy. You must also consider balance to some degree as all your stats start at zero and do not increment automatically.
Gaining Stats: Each time you finish a battle you get 1 point and each time you level up you get 40 points.
Leveling: At the beginning of the game you start at level 0, after 2 battles you will be level 2. The leveling speed isn’t that bad, you won’t be doing a lot of grinding early on in the game because you are limited to how much you can play like all facebook games.
Energy: You have a limit of 10 energy and you spend them in battles 3 at a time, they also take very long to recharge; around 1 energy every 15 minutes.
Gaia online Item: I’ve received around 200 – 500 gold each time I level up in this game and credited to my gaia online account. When you are level 4 you will also receive the died-rich weapon. This is VERY powerful. There is also a reward for leveling to level 10, but I am unsure of what this is currently.
