What is Myspace?
Myspace is a website which launched in August 2003 and it’s a place where users can interact with each other. In other words it is a social network which allows its users to share content such as blogs, photos, videos and music. In June 2006, Myspace was the most popular social network on the internet but was beaten in April 2008 by the other social network, Facebook as it had drawn more monthly visitors.
How Did Myspace Begin?
Before Myspace had launched, there was another social network, which launched in 2002 known as Friendster. This site was probably the first social network on the web.
Some of its users were eUniverse employees and they had seen the potential of a social network. This is when they decided to create Myspace and add more popular features to enhance its usability.
In August 2003, they had the very first version of the site ready for publication and the first members were in fact eUniverse employees.

I do have a Myspace account but sad to say I seldom visit it, but with your article , guess I need to spend more time on that site.
