Pruelpo Shares: Twitter Kicks Off Redgage!!!

I tried many times but Twitter blocked them – the site message said, “Oops! A URL in your tweet appears to link to a page that has spammy or unsafe content.” Among the share buttons that RedGage has assigned for its users to share their stuff across the Internet it is only the Twitter has rejected them.

What exactly was the reason why Twitter did not accept my tweet? I communicated with Twitter and has explained the following with some advice what to do. For details visit the link: http://support.twitter.com/articles/90491-my-website-is-being-flagged-as-malware-or-spam

Twitter blocks the posting of suspected malware URLs, and flags suspected harmful shortened URLs, in order to make Twitter more secure and to prevent phishing and scams. Their Safe Tweeting help page has more general information on keeping our account secure.

    thanks for the share

  3. Suni51 says:

I knew this would happen ultimately, there were too many tweets coming from redgage. Also twitter has a new look and new policy. As for we Indians are concerned due to undue interference by our governing authority.

  4. Suni51 says:

BTW do you know why we do not get any view for tweeting triond articles? I am too curious to know or is there any thing wrong the way I do it?

  5. pruelpo says:

yeah friend Avissado, I already added you there.

  8. pruelpo says:

Welcome Safa – and yes we are both RedGage users now. The site now is on its maintenance. I cannot reply those comments there.

  9. pruelpo says:

I agree with you dude Suni51, Twitter now has changed some of its policy. Thanks. About your question – it is also what I am thinking, so far I did not see Twitter listed as one of the referral sites on my dashboard. As a matter of fact, every article approved and published here was automatically sent off to twitter…And every time I tweet my views here increased.

@Nita – welcome and thank you for your time. Noted.

Yes, RedGage went down for maintenance on the 21st. Please report back if the situation has changed.

I think the main problem between redgage and twitter is one of SPAM. Many of rg high earners have taken a lazy approach to earning income on the site, they use those automatic tweeting sites, where you post 10 tweets per hour, in a 24 hour period that gave them 240 tweets. But this was not enough for some, and they opened up to a dozen twitter accounts under different names, than opened up a dozen accounts on those automatic tweeting sites, do the math, some members were now tweeting the same content 2,280 times per day every day. Nearly two years ago I repeatedly warned rg that the way some members were abusing those automatic tweeting sites would one day cause problems for the site, but was always told that members could use those sites how they wanted to, it was not up to rg to enforce how its members made use of other sites as long as they were not using bots.
Fast forward to today, and you can clearly who was right and who was wrong. They can’t say they were not warned. Had rg taken action two years ago and blocked or banned its members from using those automatic tweeting sites, rg would not have the problems its having today. And as I write this, those same rg members are still trying to get around the twitter block and make those automatic tweet sites work for them, its very sad.
Just hours ago, some senior rg members making use of those automatic tweeting sites have posted those sites are now beginning to block rg links entirely, even the ones where the url has been changed. And at least one url shortening site is now blocking rg links in any form, so the future of rg is not looking very bright.
