On myLot, and why it will not be successful.
First and foremost myLot is not a scam, they do what they say they do, they pay you to post in their message forum.
However with that being said, mylot is doomed to fail for many reasons:
- Poor communication from Admin
- Poorly written ‘guidelines’
- Deletion of posts that are not against the guidelines
- Suspending and banning members for no reason
- No explanation of why a post was deleted
- Lack of quality discussions
- double standards of members, its ok to cheat if we have a reason but don’t you cheat, and don’t report someone for cheating, it will get you on a black list and targeted
- Poorly designed rating system
While Mylot has a great layout, and is a ‘pretty sight’, and easy to navigate, the frustration of not knowing what you are going to earn is high on mylot.
I’ve watched people hound others, literally stalk them, myself included, until they left and got banned, for what? reporting someone with 2 accounts.
No matter what you are extremely lucky if someone in mylot takes the time to respond to your question or comment to the admin, most of the time it goes ignored and unanswered.
For a while they had Crash, who was a mylot amin, and was there to answer questions and concerns. it lasted all of 3 months, Crash disappeared without a trace.
They ban and take the money of members and yet the people that submit countless of photos about nothing at all and post comments about things that should be said in private messages.
I’ve got the proof of a group of people banning together to kick someone off mylot, and mylot does nothing about the harassment, in fact by their doing nothing they seem to encourage it.
Their advertisements is how they get their revenue, mostly are scam and either put a adware or spyware on your computer, or put you on a junk mailing list you can’t get off of.
It is speculation, as well as others that mylot bans members who are consitantly make a larger sum of money without reason because they can not afford to pay them.

Never once did I say they didn’t pay.
The rest of my complaints are based on the experience I had there, and the experience I’ve seen others go through.

All of those points are true of Yahoo too, and unfortunately they are still with us.

I don’t know why you hate mylot that much.If they have banned someone there should be some reason for that.They might have broken the rules of the site.Have you even read the rules of mylot?There are a lot of people in mylot who haven’t even read the rules of the site.

yes this is all true, after i posted they tramped my post and harrassed me every post. You can’t say what is on your mind there. The longtimers have a ring of trolls just waiting for the right nubee to come along and then the flaming starts, they crawl slowly up to the line and just keep puttin you down and when you speak up or complain to admin they close your logon. My post had nothing to do about any of them or anyone else, only about something I wanted to tell parents about Ouija boards being touted as playthings, and they called me all kinds of religious freak, poor parent, I terified my daughter,ect,ect.
As soon as you complaign to admin no actions are done, but one complaint from one of those trolls and your banned, for your opinions.

You have learned to lie and tell people off too huh. Well I do have proof of their private little ring, and they admit that they harrass nubee’s, and this information is from 3 months before I signed up. And you call me a snitch? It had nothing to do with 2 accounts bozo, you only read the posts from me, but they did not post the whole discussion where they are doing the bullying, So.. I did go and you join them in their game, I don’t care. Your post had nothing to do with me, as I had no remarks to you and I don’t even know your name. And I did not have them banned for having 2 accounts, they said I did, and had me banned and also deactivated any accounts I did have. They even deleted my posts and reply’s to other posts that did not go against any for their phony rules. There is no mod. either. All the ones I complained about are still there, and I got banned for reporting the harrassment. For all you people at Mylot. You only read what they wanted others to read to discredit me. I only told the truth about my experiences there.

You are just bitter Mooch. And you are spreading your bitterness all over the net. You’d better watch it or mylot admin is going to come after YOU for slander. So you lost your top posting ranking. So what! You brought you own demise on mylot on yourself and you are too narcissistic to see that. Mylot is better off without you if all you can do is complain and make false allegations. It will certainly not fail just because YOU say so! Silly woman.
