After a few weeks of hard work, I have a blog ready to publish to promote my personal works!

I had a short run in the Triond community before having to submit my time to the grueling endeavor of a neurobiology degree at UT Austin. However, I must say that it was fun and I really enjoyed the community here while it lasted. I must still recognize the shortcomings of Triond in relationship to what my aspirations are as a writer, and I wanted to take a step in a different direction for my next project.
Therefore, I chose to be the mastermind of my own blog and throw down quite a bit of cash for hosting and certain software. I wanted to make sure to tell everyone here about my new blog and welcome any and all critiques, comments, or concerns. Once again, I really was fond of the community here and I hope that it carries over to my newest project.

Well done James and good luck! I’ve also recently set up my own blog (not not quite on the same level as yours!). I’m hoping it’s going to turn out to be a weekly issue with a mixture of the amusing and the interesting! I’ve called in the Spixworth Sentinel (I live in the village of Spixworth in the UK). However, I still intend to keep publishing articles, photos etc on Triond but just put links into by blog when I’m telling my readers what I’ve been up to.
I initially started the blog on RedGage but I’ve had so many problems with them so decided to move away. Besides which, the number of viewers on there ain’t great!!!

Hello!
Thanks for the reply. I am using Wordpress to power my blog and bluehost for the hosting (It’s not cheat, but it lays everything out quite clearly and simply for a non-programmer such as my self).
