Is The Internet The Best Thing Invented?

Social Networks

Having the Internet is the best thing, but not always.

For the past several years we have gotten used to the internet. We live in a time where for most of us the first thing that we do in the mornings besides grabbing a cup of coffee is checking our e-mails. Others are checking their social networking sites such as Facebook.

The internet is a wonderful thing because now children do not have to run to the library when doing research for a school report or project. We can instantly send messages through e-mails, use it for work purposes and other things.

For other people the internet has became a nightmare. There are sick adults who are looking to hook up with young kids and teenagers. They are lying saying that they are 17 or 18 years old and in reality these people are in their 30’s looking for not just cheap fun, but something filthy. As a result kids are becoming victims of crimes.

The bottom line is that a person can use the internet for something wonderful such as getting more work done for their jobs, booking travel, finding lost family and friends, listening to music and many othr things. However, you must be careful also when using the Internet and trying to meet others.

The internet is a very useful tool and should be used for something productive and not be used to do other people harm.

Very good. There always has to be someone who tries to ruin a good things, i.e. those posing as teenagers to get teens. I am still amazed at the internet. We did not have such things when I was in school.

The Internet has changed our lives for the best and it is such a diversified tool for one and all to use. The bottom line to me is that parents need to monitor the sites and what their kids are doing on the computer. Parental controls are one way and educating our youth is truly primary…
