Heres some overview of all of the four Facebook apps Facebook has for iOS.

Some people may know, but most people probably don’t, but Facebook actually provides four different apps for iOS users for four different reasons, and all of the apps are free. The four apps Facebook provides for iOS are Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Facebook Camera, and Facebook Pages Manager.

1. Facebook

Facebook is the first Facebook app that has been out the longest. This app is for the typical Facebook user that just wants to stalk.. I mean check in on your friends, and talk to your friends. On this app you can look at statuses, pictures, videos, as well as like and comment on them, post statuses, pictures, and videos, and chat with friends.

2. Facebook Messenger

Facebook Messenger is a app, as you might be able to tell by the name, is a messenger. This app is for bothering… I mean talking to your friends. Although you can talk to your friends on the Facebook app, on this app its more thought out and laid out just for chatting with friends, although its not necessary for downloading it, if you talk to your friends a lot I would strongly recommend this free app because in this app you can also start group chats, and send pictures to friends just through chat, and this app is the second app Facebook made and has been out the second longest.

3. Facebook Camera

Facebook Camera is similar to Instagram, although Instagram has been out a lot longer, and on Facebook Camera you can upload full sized pictures not just square ones. This is the newest Facebook app and on this app you can take pictures from the app, or upload pictures in your camera roll. To the pictures you can do some quick editing like cropping, and preset colors effects, and then upload more than one at a time. Also on the app you can see recently uploaded pictures by your friends, click here to see my full review of this app.

4. Facebook Pages Manager

Facebook Pages Manager is only really a tool if you have a Facebook page (not profile), if you do have a Facebook page then this app is a useful app because you can see all your pages, post statuses and pictures as the page, and see Insights.
