The Hollywood industry has begun to restrict by contract the use of Internet social networks like Twitter and Face book among actors to prevent leaks about the shooting.

As reported to the press, Dream Works Animation and Disney were the first to include specific clauses in the contracts of the actors in requiring the commitment of the signatories not to disclose the developments of their work across different media platforms.

It is rumored that Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers were committed to silence their Twitter networks referring to the upcoming sequel of the Shrek saga.

The rage of virtual social networks has caused some troubles to the executives of the U.S. television networks. One of the best known was the announcement of the singer Paula Abdul via Twitter that the jury was no longer popular (American Idol).
