The Hollywood Studios have levied a ban on stars to prevent their sharing any information on current projects.
Micro-blogging has become a new craze and Twitter is leading the way with over 2 billion followers around the globe. Twitter is basically, in my opinion, an IM option you can use to communicate with thousands of people at a time. Not only can you build relationships, you also get to stumble upon some Hollywood stars who are also addicted to Twitter. Hollywood stars like Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers are part of this social networking website “Twitter”. This has indeed lead to the studios fearing that these stars will unwittingly reveal secret details of their film projects. Studio bosses think that these Twitter addicted stars are damaging the industry by leaking vital information on their site. To deter the actors from divulging such information, studios are now inserting clauses in their contracts forbidding the use of such networking sites. These clauses to ban the stars has actually put all the millions of fans and followers of these Hollywood stars to utter disappointment as their dream to interact with these stars will never be fulfilled even on this online platform leave alone in reality
