     For those of us who have just figured out how to use twitter, facebook or even send text messages, Google has now come up with something else for us to learn.

     On May 27 of this year, Google announced a program that will merge emails, instant messages and social networking in real-time.  I guess this will be a good thing.  Is the phone becoming obsolete?  I like hearing my relatives voices.  Plus things can be misunderstood when in the written form.

     Google has given 600,000 users, since September, a chance to try out this program.  How they were picked they didn’t say.  The first 100,000 that signed up are allowed to invite an additional eight more people.

     So where’s your invite?  Check on ebay.  There are people auctioning off or some are buy it now offers.  I read a few and you may have to wait awhile to get the program up and running.  I guess it depends on how much you like to be on the cutting edge of new technology if you want to buy it on ebay
