Five games I found on Facebook that will have you screaming for an intervention.

Farmtown
Have you ever wanted to own a farm without having to sweat or back breaking work? Well Farmtown gives you that experience from the comfort of your own home, office, or park bench where you’re stealing someones wireless signal. You start out with a small piece of land and the ability to plow and plant seeds. You get money from harvesting your crops and points for leveling up from planting and harvesting. As you move along in the game you use the money and the levels you earn to get more stuff for your farm like a barn, a farm house, ponds, more land etc… You will find yourself playing longer and longer just trying to get the next piece for your farm.

Restaurant City
So you’ve gone to your local diner and thought yourself “Hey I could run a place like this.” Well now you can, on your computer. You start out with a little place and small staff and as you play along you earn money and points toward your level to expand and buy many a cool thing. What cool things could you buy a plenty of? Well for starters a toilet and then watch your patrons drop a deuce, in front of everyone. You can also buy stoves, chairs, tables, arcade games, TVs, plants, the list is quite extensive. Then after your done customizing the inside simply leave your restaurant and customize the outside. While outside you can visit any and all of your other friends on Facebook who have Restaurant City so that you guys can show off your flare and share ideas. Totally addictive and fun.

Tetris Friends
Everyone loves Tetris and now Facebook gives you 5 ways to play it in one awesome app.
Block Star is an older version of Tetris with no frills. This down and dirty version of the game has faster moving pieces and no grace period when a block touches another one. Make your moves count.
Ultra puts your puzzle skills to the test by giving you only 2 minutes to rack up the highest score you possibly can.
Marathon asks the question “Are you gamer enough to defeat all 15 Tetris levels?” Do you think you have what it takes to beat them before your friends do?
Sprint is similar to Ultra but the rules are reversed. You have to see how fast you can get rid of 40 lines.
Sprint 5p pits you against other Facebook friends to see if you can beat them to getting rid of your 40 lines first.

Barn Buddy
If running an entire farm has never been your idea of a good time, but growing a few vegetables always seemed like a good way to unwind, then you’ll love Barn Buddy. You have just a small garden with a handful of plots that lets you plant and tend your plants until they are ready to be harvested. Checking back to make sure bugs and weeds haven’t overrun or killed your precious plants is a must and takes little time. Then after harvesting you sell your crops so that you can buy and plant new vegetables. It keeps you coming back day to day to gibe your garden TLC.

Mafia Wars
Ever wanted to own the town and control the flow of money and power? Now is your chance. You start by picking one of three classes mogul, maniac, or fearless. From there you start as a street thug and begin doing jobs to work your way up they ladder. In addition to jobs you do for the mob you can also fight other mafia to earn money, items, and experience. Also you can buy up properties so that you have a steady stream of income coming in. If that’s not enough stuff to keep you coming back hour after hour then wait until you see the long list of achievements you can earn. Do you have what it takes to be the Don?
