Farmville, a game lots of Facebook users are addicted to.
Farmville is the game in which Facebook users are hook up with. Most of my updates would always include some friends level up and earning coins. My requests will show several friends sending gifts and animals to adopt. I don’t play Farmville. Biggest reason might be that I don’t wanna get addicted to it. Besides, the moment I joined Triond, I’ve concentrated on writing more. Not just because this is a more worthwhile activity but this is a great site to learn and meet friends of the same interest and earn. My brother plays Farmville. The day he started playing it, he got addicted to it. He always has to check out what’s happening in his farm. He had to harvest, plow, and plant. He even have to visit and do some chores just to earn imaginary coins. I told him every time he starts playing that he better go and do real farming, that way he earns real money and not just some coins wherein nothing can be bought for real. Also, electricity is wasted and the time and effort. I even told him that our mouse is depreciating. He has to click on every piece of land for every work he wants to dofar. For pleasure, it’s not bad to play at times but seeing huge numbers of people doing nothing but play makes it unworthy. If facebook offers some prizes for certain accomplishments then that’s the time I’ll tell my brother to work hard for his farm.

Overall I think it’s a good thing. I mean, I check my farm daily too. I choose to think it tells a bit about my character. That I’m committed to things that I start. He must be a committed person too.

I feel the same way about WI Rock Guitar.. if you are going to go to all that trouble, then why not do the real thing, instead of just proving you got quick fingers and good eye hand coordination. Oh well, to each his own and “whatever turns you on!”

These games seem a waste of time to me. I know kids do get addicted to them who should be reading and doing something of worth.

I love this game, But I see to it that I spend more time working on my articles. I play Farmville just to relax my tired mind.
