A head to head battle against the three major social networking services.
Lets get started, right off the bat. The 3 major social networking services today are Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. Each one has its unique personality and interface. So let’s start with the currently, most popular, Facebook
Facebook is the median in for people on the internet’s social networking world. That is also why it is the most popular. First, the user interface is very simple, and uncomplicated. It has a clean layout and not a ton of hidden links and buttons. The chat feature is making Facebook more popular than AIM. The toolbar across the bottom of the screen allows access to all of the applications that you have bookmarked, or were defaults.
Myspace

The first thing that pops into our heads when we think of its infamies that Triond will decline my article if i mention, but we all know. But if you stay smart and don’t act like the person who wants to have a 1,000,001 friends. But there are many benefits to having a myspace. The myspace pages are extremely customizable and easy to use. It is not as easy to use as facebook, but pretty easy. Also, the chat features video chat too, unlike facebook.

Some of use may have just heard of twitter but may have never really cared. But since twitter is by far the easiest to use and update, it deserves to get a fighting chance. The super basic layout allows users to send private messages, little(short)public tweets, and check who another person is following and who is following them. That is it. There is no more to twitter than that.
So for a final rundown of all of the services, you should check what one will fit your needs.
- Facebook: Easiness-8/10
- Safety-7/10
- Popularity-10/10
- Features-8/10
- Total-33/40
- Myspace: Easiness-5/10
- Safety-6/10
- Popularity-9/10
- Features-9.5/10
- Total-29.5
- Twitter: Easiness-10/10
- Safety-9/10
- Popularity-5/10
- Features-4/10
- Total-28
So, the best social networking service out of them all, in the opinion of the people, is Facebook. But I would start watching out for twitter, because i know that they are adding new features every day.
