Facebook Timeline

Sometime towards the end of 2011, Facebook introduced their newest change which is the Facebook Timeline. It’s an application that when you start to install, you can’t easily get rid of. From the boring view of your profile comes a different way of showing one’s activities on Facebook.

One can put his own cover photo which resembles an old third party application in Facebook where you get to have a banner on your profile. Then, photos, friends, and other profile information are pretty much itemized showing a thumbnail of such features. The interesting thing about this timeline feature is that you don’t need to keep on clicking the “Older Posts” link at the bottom of your profile page, but instead it shows an endless scroll that presents your activities, life happenings and important events that have been shared through Facebook. On the right side of one’s profile timeline are the yearly categories that one can click on and instantly be taken to a particular month or year. One can also see when a particular person had started using Facebook and it’s pretty interesting to know when all the craze and fun started. These are just some of the features in Facebook Timeline and there are much more things one can do with it.

The good thing about this whole new Facebook craze is that it makes Facebook experience grow into something that’s not too boring for their users. It makes Facebook interesting in its own way as they continue to adapt, adjust, and grow as a community and as a part of any internet user. Facebook has its own way of making a noise in the the world wide web and surely brings new things that would harvest different views and reactions from various types of social media users.
