Nowadays, almost most of the people fro mal ages is aware that Facebook exists. Not of them may know that it means or which the system tools are, but at least they know what it’s all about.

Facebook is a social network that Internet has incorporated a few years ago, in which people from all over the world share their activities with friends in their accounts and with the rest included in their communities. You can publish photos, commentaries, anecdotes, new friendships. It is a way of contact between people, in a virtual sense, that allows you meeting new friends, collegues, partners, family and others. There have already been marriages thanks to this software. the interesting thing is that it allows people who have not been in contact for a long period of time to get in touch. For example, school colleagues can meet using this network, even kindergarten friends.

Facebook is a fabulous tool to establish social relationships with thousands of people around the world, but it may, at the same time, have a dark side. Mean people can take advantage of kids who participate in Facebook, and with their innocence might be extremely vulnerable. Of course it is difficult for parents to avoid their children from creating an account but it is essential to use a clear and concrete communication to protect them.

Besides, this program attracts people from all ages, some of them spend considerable part of their time sharing their moments and activities. It has become, in some cases, a big source of work distraction and dispersion for employers. This creates significant time loose, and it has shown addiction problems in many people who have the need of telling everyone on Facebook about their lives and knowing about others, or maybe answering any kind of request.

For the majority of people, Facebook is a great XXI century creation, in which the cybernetic interaction reaches an upper level, but it is important to always take into account which the limits are and until where the privacy should be shared, especially when talking about children.
