Formula: picture + active link = more views.
If you’ve been reading my Triond article earning series, I hope you are feeling uplifted and motivated. We all want to be “rakin’ in the bacon” and these tips are sure to help towards that end.
In this article, I’m going to discuss another neat trick to bump up your Triond article views. If you could, would you put traffic to your Triond articles on autopilot? Of course you would! Would you implement a couple of easy steps to that end? Of course. Will you read to the end of this article? I hope you will.
You are following this series because you’ve seen that I’m offering good, workable tips.
- Now, some will read to the end of this article but will be too unmotivated to bother taking things up a notch. Those people will forget what they’ve just read or they may plan to get around to matters one day. Meanwhile, the pennies will continue to trickle in.
- The next group is made up of writers who are serious about their craft and want to learn what to do to gain the most from their writing efforts with Triond.
Picture this: someone swings by your blog . . . and then they see something new. What’s that? They see you’ve added pictures to your sidebar. They run their mouse over a picture and see that it is active. Intrigued, they click on it . . . and it takes them to one of your Triond articles! Neat or what?
A Fantastic Fifth Triond Article Earning Secret
In today’s article, we’ll take a look at how to add a photo to your blog’s sidebar and connect it to a Triond article. It should be obvious why this is a good idea.
For the purpose of this tutorial we will use popular Blogger.
- Sign in to Blogger
- Go to Layout
- Click on Add a Gadget
- Go to Picture
- You will see: Title, Caption, Link. The link part is important. Add a Triond article URL
- Upload a picture from your computer or from the Web
- Decide on a title for your picture or a caption and include in the applicable spaces
- Press Save
Now, you will have a picture in your sidebar that is embedded with a Triond article link. If desired, go back to Layout and drag the picture to where you want it to appear in your sidebar.
Check that all is working as it should be by running your mouse over the picture and clicking to ensure that you–and by extension, your future readers–are taken to the Triond article.
Your blog visitors will see these pictures and will click through and be directed to your articles, pictures, videos or recipes at triond.

Hi Prernamalik,
Yes, it’s a trick that should help to improve the look of blogs, as well as help with article traffic.
I’ve used this same trick on all my blogs in relation to my Bedbug book. I have a picture of Bedbug in the sidebar and when people click on the picture, they are taken to the Bedbug blog.
So, pictures can be used to direct readers to articles or other blogs.

I use my Triond widget on my Blogger blog but I’ll give this a try, pictures are definitely more attractive than plain text.
