Which link sharing sites give you the most views?
While the amount of viewers your online content gets really does depend on the quality and the topic, and to some extent quantity, a part of getting views is through online promotion. There are literally thousands of sites that share links exclusively, and even more that have link sharing capabilities, but which ones work best?
From my personal experience, having used around 25 different sites to promote my content, the best sites by far are reddit, stumbleupon, digg and facebook, in that order. When I was unknown in the online writing world, these four sites combined got me 4000 views in three months, not bad for a beginner. Reddit has a ten minute delay through sharing, however, which is a bit of a pain, but the site is worth it. Stumbleupon is the most user friendly site I have used, with hundreds of categories and a friendly community. Digg has a shortage of categories, but does cover the major topics, and can net a large amount of readers over a short period of time. Facebook was pretty much guaranteed to get viewers, if you post links in groups, create a page or make a fan group yourself.
With this information in mind, pick the site that’s best for you and get promoting!
