The StumbleUpon Experiment

We all know StumbleUpon is very fun to use, but how powerful is the traffic driver really?

StumbleUpon
has revolutionized social bookmarking. Websites with genuine good content is rated and tagged, allowing other Stumblers with interest in this topic to find the same website. Even viewing results from Google search have been influenced by which results were popular among Stumblers. The huge traffic for websites due to this has lead to increased exposure and revenue. So just how powerful is StumbleUpon?

I want to find out how much traffic StumbleUpon can really give. To do this, I need the help of all the wonderful SU users. My idea is to have this page thumbed-up for StumbleUpon and I would ask you to do the same. For each person that rates this page thumbs up, the more traffic this page will get. I will post the statistics after finishing this experiment which I plan to run for 5 days.

So what will you get? Well, if you have a personal website or blog, just post the Url and your SU username in the comments. I will be happy to give you a Stumble back! Also, once I get the results and statistics of this experiment, I will post them.

SU members, all you have to do to help in this experiment is to give this page a thumbs up. If you feel that this was a waste of a stumble, here is a cute picture for you.
