If you want your articles to gain more exposure, submit them on Reddit – an awesome bookmarking site to promote your online articles on.
I have been promoting my online articles mostly on StumbleUpon, Digg and forums. The views on my articles have been steadily increasing. I set a goal to promote in as many bookmarking sites as my limited time would allow. For the last couple of days, I started to submit my articles on the social bookmarking site Reddit. Yesterday I was really surprised at the sudden huge increase in views. Please see graph below. Overnight I got double the number of views. Whoa!

I read articles written by other people on their experience with Reddit. Many people also said the same thing – that their articles experienced a big increase in views after submitting them on Reddit.
The process to submit an article is very simple and only takes less than a minute. Reddit only allows articles to be submitted every few minutes.
Make the titles very interesting to gain the most number of readers.
I encourage you to submit your articles to Reddit too. It’s a great way to boost traffic to your articles.

Thank you I will try this as I am finding it difficult to get started regarding building a following. I am a very amateur writer, a fledgling. I only started writing poetry five years ago and then I gradually started writing songs as tunes sometimes came with the words. I had a good following on one site but the price of being a member was/is high and I am now a pensioner. I am intending to try and find the time to write some articles so your information may prove useful.

Thank you for the info. I love writing for Triond and love the writer friends I have met here. However, I need to find a way to make a little income so I can continue to write. I’ll check out Reddit to see if I can gain more readers. Best luck to you, too.

Now this is the kind of article that’s worth reading. It’s well written, informative and short. I will be checking Reddit out and I’ll check out your Profile for any other title that might catch my eye.
Thank you

I tried posting one of my articles to reddit after reading this (last night) but never saw it anywhere, not even on the new news feed. Any ideas why it didn’t show up?

Thank you WriteEditSeek and Guy.
Hi Lukrisi,
Normally after I promote my articles on Reddit, the views increase. The number of views on the articles are seen under Content – Published. I hope this helps. I wish you all the best.

Great article, i had the same experience two days back. Submitted a video game article called “Arcade Greats:WWF Wrestlefest(1991) and minutes later i watched the views climb from 2 views to 52 the next morning which was great! i’m going to use reddit more often.

I have had some similar success with reddit! The only bad thing is that is spaces the time you can submit something by ten minutes. I usually submit one, then work on my next article for 10 min, then submit another. This system works for me. Thanks for the tips!
