Weird Directions From Google Maps

The issue was first spotted a few years back. However, it seems like few years down the road, the problem still exists. And when it comes to maps, not all directions should be trusted, right?

Not sure how many of you have used it, but Google Maps is possibly one of the most popular online maps available to provide directions. Typically, if you are travelling from one town to the other or one state to another, Google Maps prove to be quite a reliable tool to rely on. Especially when you don’t have any GPS(Global Positioning System) to help you, following the directions on Google Maps shouldn’t be too much of a hassle.

However, not all maps are 100% viable or reliable, unfortunately. Check out what these maps below have to offer, and you decide if you are, indeed, going to heed these directions.

Well, I don’t suppose anyone would want to attempt swimming across the Pacific Ocean from Taiwan in order to reach China, eh? I mean, 165km of swim is no joke.

Kayak from US to China? Anyone wants to try the 3,879miles?

Oh, and I guess it’s closer between Japan and China. Jet ski sounds like a good way to travel.

And in any case, when in doubt, just take a plane. At least you don’t have to worry about getting lost in the deep ocean waters.
