Five free translators that help hide the fact you aren’t a native speaker of the language.

  1. BabelFish- Babelfish is one of the oldest translators on the internet. Time has proven a great resource as they now translate into and from nearly any language with 95% accuracy! I strongly recommend using Babelfish as your online translator for it’s accuracy and it even uses proper grammar more often then not!
  2. Google Translate- Google Translator can translate anything online into another language quite efficiently. Although you would assume google would be the best in any given field BabelFish most certainly edges them out in the online translation field.
  3. Free Translation- This website does a fair job, however it only offers about 10 languages to translate between that language and English it offers no other language interactions you have to translate it from Spanish to English then English to French to get it to French from Spanish. It is rather annoying to do and leads to more grammatical errors yet the site is reliable so far!
  4. Dictionary.com- This one has the same problem as “Free Translation” It only translates between English and other languages. However Dictionary.com is one of the most reliable sources available in online translations today. It also has the added grammatical correctness built in from the people who made it being dictionary minded.
  5. World Lingo- This website offers language to language translation outside of English and it is quite reliable. The downside is a 500 word limit which is very annoying but it is worthwhile using by any means.

I hope this list has helped you in some way to improve your inter-language communication! :)
