Choosing the best way to share your photo albums can mean the difference in having your online photos seen or not seen by friends and family.

A digital photo album can come in many forms. When deciding how to best share your photos, there are a variety of methods that you can choose – from a very simply PowerPoint presentation to an online photo album hosted by a photo sharing server.

Here are 3 very simple ways to share your digital photo albums, including a couple that you might not have thought of.

Photo Sharing Site

There are plenty of photo sharing Web sites available for users to take advantage of…and many of them are available for free. These photo sharing Web sites, such as Kodak Gallery, Snapfish, and Flickr, allow users to create a photo sharing account to which they can upload their photos.

These Web sites allow users to create multiple photos albums in the same account. Thus, some Web sites make it possible for users to limit which photos which friends are able to see. However, the exact limitations and features of each photo site vary by site and by subscription plan.

In order to share the photos that are in these accounts, some hosts allow users to have their own URLS. Others allow users to send out a username, which people can then use to search for photos.

It is a wise idea to be sure that the photo sharing site that you use allows you to create a password that can help determine who can and can’t see the photos in your account.

PowerPoint

PowerPoint is one of the most basic methods of creating a digital photo album. This method is easy for many less technically savvy users to use. Therefore, many people will create a PowerPoint presentation if they are sending photos for many different types of people to view, such as to a large group.

There are two methods to send a PowerPoint photo album via the Internet. One method is more technically involved and requires users to upload the presentation to their Web sites using FTP or other means.

However, the simplest method is also the most widely-used; users can send a PowerPoint to friends via email. The size of the email might be large because of all of the photos in the document, but as long as the recipient has a fast Internet connection, this method works wonderfully.

Blog

Many people enjoy sharing their photos online by using a blog. Keep in mind that blogs are open to the public, so just about anyone can view the photos that you put on your blog as long as they have Internet access.

However, if you use a blog, you can explain what is going on in the photos in great detail. Plus, you can add videos.

Photo sharing using different methods of digital photo albums has never been easier or more diverse. Simply choose the method that works best for you and have fun sharing!
