Why not give them a piece of delicious?
A great way to save your bookmarks without building up your favorites on your browser is using the web site called delicious. They store all your bookmarks online, which you can place tags on them to locate them quite easily. I enjoy so many websites and I could not keep up with how many were in my favorite tab. They even offer what is called tag bundles.
Delicious can also be given to someone in a very creative way this year for Christmas. One year my sister made me a book with everything I enjoyed looking at and reading. What a gift that was. It was separated into sections, with recipes, tips, sister love and a variety of other areas.
A great idea is opening up a delicious account and placing sites you know they would enjoy visiting and viewing. What a gift that would be. It is also more environmental since it is online and not giving plastic or something on paper.
The first thing you would need to do is open up an email account, and register with delicious. Remember to write that email address down, along with the pass word. You can find many online mail options, such as yahoo email, hotmail, or gmail. After you have set up your email account, and registered with delicious, you can begin to bookmark sites for that gift. Find out what that person enjoys reading about, their hobbies and interests and pursuits.
Remember to tag them appropriately so that the person you are giving this great gift to can locate those sites by typing in that tag or keyword. When you finish placing all the sites and links into delicious, when you give them the gift you would require giving them the sign in name and password so they can access it.
Getting creative with online options is a wonderful gift giving and green idea. When you hand them their Christmas card or email, you can place the delicious bookmark with the sign in name and pass code inside of the card. Remember one bookmark per person; multiple people might not be able to sign in all at once.
Get green this year with your holiday gift giving, and find creative online options instead. Online gift giving cuts back more on emissions then actual objects. Delicious is one of many book marking sites on the internet to choose from.
