Some things that you can do in YouTube are: watch, upload and comment a video, also you can use YouTube videos as a learning tool when you are trying to learn some new software or a new language, etc.

I will share with you my case. I had to learn urgently Autocad due to requirements of my job. I was looking for courses, but all the courses were full. Also, I did not have time to attend a course. I looked on the internet and found several courses which were quite clear. But there were things difficult to understand to me. Well, I thought: why not find videos on the internet? I found many videos that made me clear things that did not understand. I learned quickly basic level of Autocad that I needed. After this event, when I am trying to learn  information about any topic as software programs and applications or how to do something, first I look  for related videos in the internet. I will give some characteristics of the good learning videos:

Short Videos Lessons

It easier to learn some small pieces that a big whole thing. Videos of 3 to 5 minutes are good candidates. If a video has more than 5 minutes and your internet is not too fast, upload a video can take more time. Also if you do not understand something in the video you can repeat again, and you don’t get tired or bored so quickly.

Every Part has Good Numbering Identification

Videos numbering identification like: “Video Number/Total of videos”. Example: “1/3″,”2/3″,”3/3″. This style of numbering makes it easy to locate all parties and how many divisions has a course.

You can learn quickly when you see applications that show and explain step-by-step how to do it.

Using videos is a great way to learn. You must be careful. You can find not only good videos, you can see many bad, vulgar, etc. That is called “Freedom of Expression”. Take advantage of the positives things!
