I always missed out many of my schedules and meetings and longed for having a scheduler or a planner that would help me keep track of my plans. I came across Google Calender which fulfills my purpose.
Google provides this calender to anyone who has a gmail account. Visit
Google Calendar
to access the calender.
The calender has a clean interface. On the left side it has a small calender. When you click on the particular date ,you will see it on the right hand side there is the maximized version of it. When you double click on it, you can add your even for the particular day and time. It is similar to your outlook calender.
On the left hand side there is a quick Add which allows you to add sentences which describe your meeting.
You have a link for creating events where you can schedule a meeting and send out a meeting request. You can also pop up reminder. You can also search your friend’s calender and add it to your calender list in case you want to check their availability and busy timings, etc.
Search buttons at the top allow you to search items in your calender or search any other events. There is advanced search option that allows you to search items in your calender.
Thus we can say Google replaces or is equally competent to Microsoft Outlook.
