In the year 2005 there was an estimated 35 million people in the USA that had Internet.  It was said that with in the next few years that would rise to an added 30 million people, so that’s 65 million users in the US.  And if you count people worldwide the numbers are even larger, as high as 250 million Internet users.  With all these people online, and all the different programs being sold in big department stores such as Staples and Best buy, you know someone along the line has  had problems figuring something out from a program they are using.  I know I have.  Or perhaps you just tried building your own website for one of your businesses online, or something else you do online like network marketing, what happens if you get stuck, and you don’t know what the next step is, or how to fix something?

Well lucky for you there is a little thing called tutorials.  Most programs you buy in stores and most products you use online have directions, yes.  But a lot of the times these instructions are either hard to understand or the person who wrote the directions out just didn’t take enough time to properly explain things the way you would have liked.  That’s where tutorials come in.  Tutorials are built specifically to show you how to do certain things. They teach you how to do something with in a program or how to work the program itself.  So say for example your a photographer, and you just bought Photo shop because its supposed to be THE cream of the crop.  Your sitting there editing your pics, when all the sudden you are trying to brighten a photo your working on.  But for some reason the photo ends up looking really bad.  So what do you do?  Is there something online, a video?  An illustration?  Sure there is.

In fact there are billions and billions of sites online dedicated to helping you the user, fix your problem.  Again this can be a problem your having with a program, or an editing attribute your having with a website.  These tutorials have specified illustrations, steps, and or videos to help you through the problem.  If the website offers steps and illustrations, here’s what you can expect to see:

If its a video then most likely it wont include any “steps” like above, or any illustrations, it will just be a direct video and with in the video they will show you examples and steps on  things to do.  Here are some things these sites provide in helping you with:

The most overwhelming process in all of this, is finding the site you want, with the instructions you want.  Of course even this isn’t that hard if you know what keywords to look for and search for.  If your working with a program, simply go to Google and search for “Photo shop Tutorials” or whatever the program is called your using.  If your trying to figure out how to do a certain specific thing with your website and you know what its called ie; 3d effects, buttons, layouts.   Then you can just search for “Website Button Tutorials” on Google and you will find what your looking for.  On the off chance that you have no idea what the correct term is for what your looking for, you can just do a simplified search on Google for “Website Design Tutorials” or something similar.
