My thoughts on eBay and how funny it is.

I find
eBay
really funny and I am seriously considering becoming a seller on the site not just of my unwanted items but of things I know people will want here is why.

Over the Christmas period I used Ebay to try and find gifts as I had a lot of people to buy for and like many people could not afford to buy it all from the shops with what was left of our wages and I noticed the funniest thing. My boyfriend really wanted the PS2 game Stuntman Ignition and so I looked for it on the internet, the cheapest I could get it in the shop was £20 however I found one on eBay for less than £10 so I decided to bid on it but I was outbid. The final cost the game sold for you ask was £25 plus post and packaging.

I can’t believe there are people out there who are so lazy they would rather pay more than they need to than go to the shop where it is cheaper! Or even order it from the shops website as most of them have home delivery! Its amazing how blindly people will bid just because they think because its ebay it must be cheaper.

To further prove my point currently the Eddie Izzard 6 disk collection is £15 in one of the major music and dvd stores yet people are still paying up to £21 plus post and packaging on Ebay! Also I’ve been trying to get a tatty teddy for valentines day (me to you bear from Clintons) and bears that are £5 in the shop are going for nearly £10 so as you can see its worth selling on eBay as people are so crazy that will pay double shop prices just as its Ebay.

The only downside I have to admit is that these people obviously have the money to pay full price and so by using Ebay to bid they drive up the price for people who don’t have that money and can therefore only hope for a second chance offer.

It’s a crazy world.
