I think we have all gone through a moment when we wished to just express our problems openly, albeit anonymously. It was then that I discovered this website: http://www.circleofprayer.org/. Here you can create your own profile, start your own prayer circle and have people from around the world pray with you. You in turn, can browse other people’s prayer circles and submit your own prayer for them. In this site, people are united in their longing for God and their need for the support of people who care. Anybody can create their own profile, pray to God for their innermost intentions and receive the support and kind prayers of their fellow users from around the world.
Being a member of this prayer circle will open your eyes to the problems other people are facing. There are prayers of reconciliation, marital instability, health concerns, depression, financial problems, career confusion, praise for God and all others. With the privelege of being anonymous, people can blurt what they normally are ashamed to express, things that they whisper only to God and usually behind closed doors. This is Christian networking, a way of extending love and sympathy to people you do not even know personally. Praying for others are deeply therapeutic. It gives you a feeling that you are not alone, that everyone has their own share of burdens and that things will eventually turn out according to God’s will.
